We LOVE the chrome face on the deep oak finish--roman numbers on the dial and elegant thin hands.
Bentima is a British company which was listed as clock exhibitors and manufacturers in the British Industries Fair in 1947. They were the primarily associated with producing mechanical clocks and worked in associatiom with the Perivale Clock Manufacturing Company Ltd. to produce synchronous clocks.
This is a vintage 8-day mantle or carriage clock made of oak, waxed and polished at our workshop, so wood has a beautiful glossy appearance.
The movement inside has engraved Perivale symbol.
The BENTIMA Name is on the higher part of the clocks face.
The door is chrome and curved glass, shows signs of age and a scratch here and there.
The clock has four long bars and four hammers, and a chime/silent lever on the dial.
Does NOT come with key. The clock is not pendulum driven so weight is not required. Fitted with an escapement.
