Minimal deco features meet elegance with this mid-century Smiths Mantle Clock with chrome and gold face features.
This is a vintage 8-day mantle or carriage clock waxed and polished at our workshop, so wood has a beautiful glossy vignette appearance.Has small tape on top we will not remove in case of damage to finish, slight scratch on right side.
Made in Britain.
The movement inside has engraved Smiths brand.
The Smiths Name is on the higher part of the clocks face.
The door is chrome and curved glass, shows signs of age and a scratch here and there. Two marks on dial have gold coating removed.
The clock has four long bars and four hammers, and a chime/silent lever on the dial.
Comes with key. The clock is not pendulum driven so weight is not required. Fitted with an escapement.
Dimensions: 350 mm long x 200 mm high x 150 mm deep.
